The night of Nov 30th Dec 01st was a sad one for the MV "Orient Express" as it was forced onto the rocks at the entrance of Mag Bay by a S wind gusting to gale force. Those of us anchored some 10 miles away were not in a position to assist. We were forced to listen to the tragedy on the VHF radio as first the Port Captains, then the Mexican Navy responded, via an interpreter. The two persons on board were saved, but the MV "Orient Express" is likely a total loss. We took this picture as we left Mag Bay Dec 02nd.
