Asked at the pub if anyone lived in the area with the ancestral name. It appears that they all moved away generations ago. We did enjoy a great Sunday roast Beef Lunch at the pub, a real British tradition.

December 2014 - STRADBROKE & FESSINGFIELD, UK
We do a day trip to Stradbroke and Fessingfield, near Ipswich, to track down some of my maternal ancestors. Found a war memorial and many grave markers that name persons that are likely related, but no direct descendents. We did find a reference to a direct descendant from the 14th century on a plaque at the back of a church. He was a Church Warden.
Asked at the pub if anyone lived in the area with the ancestral name. It appears that they all moved away generations ago. We did enjoy a great Sunday roast Beef Lunch at the pub, a real British tradition.
