May, 2016 - CHERBOURG, FRANCE

Sailed and then motor sailed to the giant all weather/tide port of Cherbourg-Octeville.  Bombed by the Allies in WWII there is little left of the pre-war town.  We were only in port for one day as we were getting behind schedule, so not much in the way of pictures.

Statue of Napoleon Bonaparte in the park next to the port.
