October 3rd, 2007, CITY OF SACRAMENTO

The Public dock arriving from down river. This is the last bridge to raise unless your go past Sacramento (not recommended for boats with any draft). Passat II at the dock. Free for day use, with reasonable fee for overnight stay. The neighbours at the dock were very quiet.

Breakfast at the "Backdoor" Pub / Restaurant. Great staff (chef in picture), good food, washrooms need work. The only place open before 11 am in Old Sacramento. Sandra serves afternoon tea.

One of the old "Steamers" has been converted to a restaurant / hotel / theatre.

We visited the Wells Fargo (free) and the Train ($8) Museums. Both were well worth visiting.

Side trip to Egypt to visit the pyramids or office building across the river from Sacramento public dock?

Supreme Court and Capital Buildings. Arnie the "Govenator" was not available for lunch.
