October 22nd, 2007 COJO ANCHORAGE / CAPE CONCEPTION
Cape Conception is sometimes called the "Horn of the Pacific", but was very calm for us.
The ocean is filled with oil platforms, that come at you out of the mist & wild fire smoke. The service boat MV Mister Clean III shared the anchorage at Cojo.
The train tracks run along Cojo Anchorage. As we arrived a long CN train went by, but we were too occupied with anchoring to get a picture. No waves, but the swells kept us rocking all night. The wildfire smoke created some very nice sunsets.
