August, 2017 - BAIA RAPARATA, SARDINIA, ITALY

Started out sailing, wind on the nose, tacking our way along the rocky coast.  The wind picked up and the seas were getting uncomfortable.  The forecast was for moderation in the afternoon, so we ducked into a very rocky bay behind Punta Li Canneddi to wait it out.  Sure enough the wind died and seas moderated and we motored the rest of the way to Bahia Raparata.

While diving the anchor saw an interesting shape on the bottom.  Went down to take a better look.  Someone had lost their outboard motor.  Too long ago, based on the growth, for salvage.

No pictures as we arrived late and left early.
