November 26th to 28th, 2007 BAHIA SANTA MARIA
A "tequila sunrise" on the way to Bahia Santa Maria.
Canadian SV "Warren Peace", under sail to Bahia Santa Maria. Steve caught a Yellow Fin Tuna on the way and shared it with us. It was our first fresh caught seafood so far and was great. A local fisherman in a "Panga" at sea.
The anchorage at Bahia Santa Maria.
Trip to the Mangrove swamp with Mike and Gladys from SV "Last Mango". Bird watchers would go nuts here.
The locals have fish camps in the swamp. Hopefully a vacation retreat, not a permanent residence.
The swamp transitions very quickly into desert.
The desert flora and fauna.
