Not a great passage, wind & seas on the nose. We make a stopover in Bahia de Asuncion so I (Barrie) could recover from Mal de Mar. Sandra was a trooper, having to take extra watches, while I tried to recover.
We did not make it to Isla Mujeres. The seas were too ruff in the
channel between Isla Cozumel and the mainland and the shackle on our stay sail halyard gave out, resulting in some excitement for me in the cock pit & Sandra on the foredeck in the steep 6 to 8 ft seas. We both got soaked from seas hitting us broadside. We arrive in P. Morelos
at 23:00 hours December 8th.
