January, 2012 SON STEVE ARRIVES & TRIP TO MERIDA, MX

Son Steve arrives to spend a month with us.  Our first trip is to join Iain & Jan (SV "Jock's Lodge) in Marida, the capital of the state of Yucatan, Mx.  It is a beautiful Spanish Colonial City with a reputation for great cultural events.  The cultural events were great, but we had trouble finding good (and reasonable) places to eat.

December, 2011 - EL CID MARINA'S NEWS YEARS EVE PARTY

We attended the second annual El Cid / Latitudes & Attitudes Magazine New Years Eve Party.  We were the only cruising boat (other then Lat's & Att's advertisers) to return for the second year.  It was a great party.  The inside band was better then last year, but this year the lobsters did not make it to the dinner and there was no fire dancers, acrobats or fireworks.   Still a great deal at $30 US per person, including dinner, all booze and two live bands.

NOTE:  Look for our pictures in the February issue of Lat's & Att's.
